DYLAN BANDY is a writer, director, and producer.
She has collaborated with and worked for artists Reynold Reynolds, Maja Bajevic, Trey Gunn (King Crimson), Damian Rebgetz (Gob Squad), and others.
In 2017, she created, produced, and edited a podcast on sex and feminism with her mother, author Sonya Lea. BITCHCONOCLAST is available on SoundCloud and iTunes.
Her award-winning sound installation, Strangers in a Song, toured internationally at the Hebbel Am Ufer Theater (Berlin), Theater Kana (Szczecin), Theaterhaus Gessnerallee (Zürich), BETA Fest (Norwich), and Mica Moca (Berlin).
As a performer, she has collaborated in a myriad of new works including Dinner Dance at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), Voices of Light/Joan of Arc at the Marriott Marquis (NY), The Lost at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), Too be continued... at the DAAD Gallerie (Berlin), and The Waiting Room at the Whyte Museum (Banff).
Dylan is Canadian-American, born in the Rockies and raised in the American South and the Pacific-Northwest. She is now based in LA.
